HOLY SHIT! (Part One&Two)  - DEMO 2010

Part one: innen tudod letölteni

Alapvetően úgy indult, hogy két cd-t készítünk ebben az évben, és külön-külön tesszük fel őket az oldalra, de aztán maradtunk a dupla verziónál. Az első cd számai, Jani munkáját dicsérik, mivel bevállalta, hogy a laptopján összerakja a dalokat. Nem ment gyorsan, de hát ehhez idő kell. Az alapokat még akkor csináltuk, amikor az üveggyár egyik lepusztult helyiségében próbáltunk. Tipikus, télen hideg, nyáron meleg odú volt. Minden akadozott, a zenekar is százfelé volt, így csak most készültünk el.

Az egyik kedvenc filmszereplőm C3PO ihlette a dal címét, aki azt mondta egyszer: It’s our lot in life (Ez a sorsunk az életben). Kínlódásból már sokat kaptam én is, de hála magamnak csak erősödtem tőle.

Everything must change

Az egyik kedvenc előadóm Everlast egyik száma (Ends), úgy kezdődik, hogy egy recsegős régi lemezről egy női hang azt búgja: Everything must change (Mindennek változnia kell). Én még hozzá teszem, hogy kivéve NEKED. Kinek szól ez az üzenet? Önmagamnak, a haveroknak, mindenkinek, aki fontos, hogy ne változzunk, ne hülyüljünk meg (csak egy kicsit).

A szövegről majd Csaba mesél. Judith zongorajátékot csinált bele, Jani meg püföl.

Csaba: Valamilyen mértékben úgy látom – Az álmok meghatározzák a holnapjainkat,
és az élet egy-egy időszakában, van, ami változatlan,de van, ami ugyanaz marad. – és
meg kell barátkoznunk a gondolattal-hogy ebből a világból semmit sem viszünk magunkkal.
Az élet olyan, mint egy égő ház – csak a lelki dolgok maradnak velünk – esetleg, azok a dolgok, amik megfoghatatlanok – lényegében a zene is egy ilyen – és sokszor mi magunk gyújtjuk meg a gyufát akarva vagy akaratlanul.

Az ilyen napokat nehéz átvészelni. Maga a dal könnyű szülés volt, azt hiszem annyi idő alatt készült el, kb., mint ameddig tart.

Never Roam

Orsi egyszer előállt, hogy kitalált énekdallamokat Csaba egyik szövegére. Leültünk és nekem meg rögtön jött rá ez a gitár, Judith hozzátette a furulyát és a vokált, Jani meg a dobot.

Csaba: Az első 4 sor-t, Ted Hagstorm verse inspirálta (aki fiatalon meghalt egy balesetben..), a többi idézet. Azt hiszem annak eredetileg death a címe…, és annak ellenére, hogy hány éves volt mikor megírta ezt a pár sort, nagyon éretten és pozitívan közelítette meg a témát.
Az elmúlás tér és idő nélküli dimenziója…, de lehet, hogy egy másik élet kezdete.
Ő már tudja, mi van a másik oldalon...

Midnight chocolate

Amikor Adrienn (Urban Angel), itt volt nálunk, magyar honban, kijártunk mindenfelé a zöldbe dalokat írni. Orsi is jött és később előállt azzal, hogy ő is csinálna velem valamilyen nótát. Így alapvetően ez is az ő alapötlete. Jani püföl.
Orsi: Nagyon édesszájúak vagyunk. Gombóc Artúr szindróma. Meg van egy kis rejtett erotika benne.

Ezt a dalt Adriennel írtuk, de nem került fel sehová, így egy „kicsit” belenyúltam és ilyen lett. Nem egyszerű az üteme, szokni kell. Arról szól, hogy milyen esendőek és törékenyek vagyunk.

The man who had no shadow

Csaba szöveg. Janival sokáig gyúrtuk mire ilyen lett. A basszus is az ő érdeme.

Csaba: Nagyon tetszik a zenei megvalósítása ennek a dalnak, az árnyék nélküli ember – nyilván az árnyékvilágból.
Mindenkit kísér egy barát a nap alatt...kivéve azt, aki nem ebből a világból való..
És mindenki érzi úgy néha, hogy idegen itt.
Kicsit játszogattam a gondolattal… – igazából a Blueberry című film látomásvilága volt a gondolatsor fő elindítója, részemről.

Part two: innen tudod letölteni

Gondolom nem lesz nehéz észre venni, hogy két homlokegyenest eltérő lemezt csináltunk. Evvel a másodikkal szeretnénk egy kicsit visszakanyarodni a zenekar első (Winter collection demo) hangzásához. Itt minden le van minimalizálva, így azok is örülhetnek, akik a lágyabb dalainkat kedvelik.

Kingdom of the blind

A vakok birodalma. Amilyen hülyítés megy a világban, tényleg vaknak kell lenni, ahhoz, hogy ne vedd észre, mi folyik körülötted. Politika, egyházak, kockafejűsítés. Nem csoda, hogy sokan, szépen kihátrálnak ebből a szarból. Hajrá!!

Turkish bazaar

Volt a dalnak egy korai verziója, de az túl Jumurdzsákos volt. Az alapötlet, egy légkondi nélküli tunéziai hotelszobában született, de ma már a kedvenc hastáncosomról szól. Külön jó, hogy vokálozik egy kicsit. Judith zongorázik, Jani meg darboukázik benne.

There is no light

Többször megesett az évek során a Screen-nel és a Damn-el is, hogy a próbateremben elment az áram. Olyankor csak ültünk a sötétben és néztünk, mint a hal a szatyorban. A Damn-el annyival jobb a helyzet, hogy az akusztikus gitárokkal még lehet is valamennyire zenélni.  Judith vokálozik benne.

Évekkel ezelőtt, Attila szólt, hogy írt egy dalt. Eljött, megmutatta, rögtön sikerült is énekelni valamit rá, ami úgyis maradt. Mindig is szerettem Attila stílusát, és külön öröm, hogy felkerült ez a dal erre a cd-re. Jó lenne, ha lenne folytatása.

Csak arról szól, hogy jó sok szívás után lehet csak sikerben reménykedni. De néha még akkor sem.

Nagyon régi dal. A fiókban hevert kb. 15 évig. De nagyon szerettem volna, ha 1x elkészül.

Csaba: Lényegében arról szól, hogy egy demokráciában az esztelen döntések megvétózhatóknak kellene lenniük.
Azok, akiket behálóztak az érdekek és a józanész helyett a profit utáni vágy diktál a szívükben – eladják magukat.
Eredetileg a WTO- elleni demonstrációk is ihlették a szöveget..
A négyes versszakok erről szólnának.
Ez egy tiszta mozgalom, az emberek érzik, hogy kicsúszott a gyeplő és a kapitalista szellem kiszabadult a palackból. Volt benne egy sor valahol magyarul, hogy: Ha porrá égeted lobogód – én megértem, hisz vér áztatja színeit oly régen – nem lehet szubjektív döntéseket hozni egy nemzet nevében...

Csaba egyik cd-jén volt ez a dal a banjo-val. Nagyon tetszett, ezért megcsináltuk. Az egyik koncert előtt raktuk össze Csabával. Ír kocsmahangulata van, és arról szól, hogy a koncert végére elfáradunk és hagyjanak minket békén.

Nem kell komolyan venni. Van egy őrült nyuszink, Pihe. És muszáj volt dalt írni róla. Amikor rögzítettünk, épp nálunk volt „vendégségben” egy nőstény nyúl, Puha , aki Orsi ölében ült a felvétel alatt. Azért vót nálunk „vendégségben”, mert Pihe hím nyúl.
